Inspections, Audits and Asbestos Management Reports
It is now a legal requirement that properties that are suspected of
containing an asbestos type material ie: built prior to 1990 and are
to be offered for sale leased or renovated in any way must meet
these requirements.

Safe Removal of Asbestos (NOHSC: 2002, 2005 SECOND EDITION)
The audits contain a register of all materials found to contain asbestos and a
recommendation for the management of these materials. The report provided
has photos of the materials tested during the audit and the result of analysis
in an easy to read format. Contractors or your employees are to avoid disturbing asbestos containing materials and should examine the audit when planning any work or renovations within a facility or property. This avoids the risk of asbestos exposure and the cost of decontaminating a work place when it is discovered that asbestos materials were disturbed during the work and the problems that could ensue.
Product and Sampling Analysis
Building materials that are suspected to contain asbestos are care fully sampled and submitted to a NATA certified laboratory for analysis. The results are listed in the audit or presented in an easy to read document, to the homeowner with suggested remedies, if required.
